About Us

SGA Welding Services is owned and operated by Steve Applin.

The company was founded in 2007 in Fort Worth, TX.

I am American Welding Society certified since 2003.

I also hold an advanced welding degree from Tarrant County Community College.

I have my own equipment and can always come to your site to meet your welding needs.

I can fabricate onsite or in my shop using stick, MIG, or Flux core methods.

I can weld steel, stainless, aluminum, and sheet metals.

Steve installed a handrail on my front walk to aid me walking up the steps after my knee replacement. The rail was securely anchored to the sidewalk and the brick wall it ran next to. All the weld seams were ground smooth, he capped the ends to prevent bees, and the whole thing was painted black to prevent rust. It was a very professional installation, and the service was great. I would recommend him to anyone.

I needed a cost effective wood rack built to hold a cord of wood. I didn't want to purchase the lighter pre-made ones. I reached out to Steve and he built me a wood rack out of 1 1/4" square tubing, closed up all open ends, and gave it a great paint job to prevent rust. The weld joints were solid and the whole item feels strong and well built. I will be using him again for future projects.

We needed a handrail to be able to climb the steps to my garen on the hill. In my advanced years I was worried about falling climbing the steps and Steve was able to fulfill my needs.
